Museum of Underwater Art (MOUA) Stage 2 and 3 Public Information Package

The Public Information Package (PIP) Museum of Underwater Art (MOUA) Stage 2 and 3 dated 10 May 2021 has been approved by the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority and Department of Science (DES).

MOUA acknowledges the Sea Country on which we operate, the Manbarra and Wulgurukaba Traditional Owners. We recognise their continuing connection to land, waters and culture. We pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging, and to all Traditional Owners of the Great Barrier Reef.

The PIP for stages 2 (Palm island) and 3 (Magnetic Island) has been developed to provide sufficient information for the public to understand the What, Where, When, Why and How of the project. We have addressed this through simple text, photographs, figures and tables and a section on Frequently Asked Questions.

We encourage you to share the MOUA PIP Stage 2 and 3 and the opportunity to provide comments with your stakeholders. You can send your feedback or comments to assessments@gbrmpa.gov.au from 17 May to 13 July, 2021.

If you have any questions on the PIP or MOUA or wish to request a meeting, presentation or site inspection please contact us at: mouapmo@pvwpartners.com.
